Registration / payment

Since we are a small team of mountain guides, our offers can be fully booked very quickly. We are grateful if you register as early as possible so that we can fulfill your wishes regarding the hotel and, above all, the mountain guide.
Written registration and at the same time a deposit of 50% of the course fee per person.

The remaining amount must be paid at least 15 days before the start of the course. (For trips abroad 30 days before departure).

In the case of short-term bookings (less than 15 days), the total amount must be paid immediately.

After receipt of your registration and the deposit you will receive a written confirmation, the detailed program and an equipment list for the respective tour.

Price-performance

Clear price-performance information for every tour or trip.

What is included in our prices can be seen in the corresponding advertisement.

If only the mountain guide tariff is listed, expenses such as transport, accommodation, food, etc. for the guest and the mountain guide are always at the expense of the guest.

Non-Alpine Club members pay a surcharge of CHF 15 per night directly to the hut warden if they stay in huts.

Insurance:

The participant undertakes to obtain adequate insurance coverage. In addition to comprehensive accident and health insurance that is also fully valid for the tour / trip booked (including high mountain risk, rescue and rescue costs), travel cancellation insurance is mandatory. These insurances must be taken out by the participant himself.

We also recommend that you join Air-Zermatt as a sponsor. Although we as a mountain guide can offer you an optimal arrangement, accidents cannot be ruled out during training courses and tours in the mountains.

Course cancellation / course termination / course change:

Our tours usually take place in all weather conditions, provided the conditions allow it.

However, the participant must be prepared to make extensive changes to the program and, in particular, to changes in the area.

It is up to the mountain guide to change the program.

There will be no reimbursement in the event of the guest breaking off or leaving the tour or cancellation.

Any additional costs are borne by the guest.

Withdrawal conditions:

If you cancel early, you will incur the following costs:

- 61 days before the start of the tour: SF 150.–

60–31 days before the start of the tour: 30% of the total amount

30–11 days before the start of the tour: 50% of the total amount

10–0 days before the start of the tour and in the event of no-show: 100% of the total amount.

For trips abroad:

Start of contract - 60 days before departure: 30% of the arrangement price

59–15 days before departure: 80% of the arrangement price

14–0 days before departure: 100% of the arrangement price

Liability:

By booking, you acknowledge the dangers in the high mountains. Even a highly qualified mountain guide is not infallible, because outside the marked paths he is confronted with border areas that are never fully controllable. His job can only be to keep the risk to a minimum.

For all disputes, irrespective of the nationality of the participant and where the damage occurred, Swiss courts have exclusive jurisdiction. The place of jurisdiction is Visp in the canton of Valais.
